What are the commands?

In twitter you can issue the following commands via direct message:

• Add artist: d GigulateAlerts ADD Nine Inch Nails
• Remove artist: d GigulateAlerts REMOVE Nine Inch Nails
• List artists: d GigulateAlerts LIST
• Link accounts: d GigulateAlerts LINK

I've linked my Twitter account and Gigulate account...

Great! Now that you've linked your accounts you'll notice an extra plus/minus appear next to each artists delete button in your watchlist. To track an artist via @GigulateAlerts hit the "+". To stop tracking hit "-". You can still use the direct message method as well.

How does it work?

When we index and score a story we'll check if you are tracking them via the @GigulateAlerts service, if you are: we'll DM you. It's that simple.

How often do you DM people?

We'll only DM you when a new music news story breaks about an artist. It's not a river of tweets that we post, it's only the first most important article in a story cluster that we send you. So you won't get too many DMs about the same story.
