Dinosaur Jr. heads back to 'Farm' for big fall outing

Alt-rockers Dinosaur Jr. [ tickets ] will launch a massive fall headlining tour early next month in support of the band's ninth studio album, "Farm," which hit stores in June. The group gets things underway Oct. 2 and 3 in Cambridge, MA. Four dates on the 27-city trek are co-headlining shows with Built to Spill; the remainder are headlining dates, with the exception of the tour-closing Nov. 21 New York City show with Sonic Youth.
