AHH Stray News: Plies Strikes Gold Twice In One Year

Fort Myers, Florida rapper Plies was awarded a Gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales of his sophomore album, Definition of Real. The Gold certification is the second issued to the rapper in under one year. His debut album The Real Testament also sold over the mandatory 500,000 copies and was certified in June 2008.
