Animal Collective and Danny Perez: Oddsac | Pop review

(Plexi)Fans of 2009's Merriweather Post Pavilion, on which Animal Collective reined in their more outré tendencies in favour of gleaming hooks, are in for a shock. Among the more conventional moments of this "visual album" – filmed by artist Perez and scored by the band – is footage of a man dressed like a tapeworm throwing around cake ingredients.
