Being There: DJ Z-Trip at Webster Hall on November 19

This past Friday, as part of a bill shared with the UK's break-beat purveyor DJ Zinc, Zach Sciacca aka DJ Z-Trip brought his love of mash-ups, hip hop, Top 40 and pop genre blending moves to the stage of Webster Hall, slinging hit after hit after hit, even dropping obscure beats under known lyrics, or vice versa. A producer, DJ, composer and critical darling, Mr. Sciacca took the crowd on a rad journey for about an hour and a half. Here's how it all started.
