Blitzen Trapper maps summer road plans

Indie-rockers Blitzen Trapper will hit the road in early July for a mid-summer headlining run while they continue to make progress on a new studio album. The Portland, OR-based group kicks off the trek July 9 in Sacramento, CA. The 14-city outing includes a July 12 appearance at the venerable Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles opening for Jenny Lewis and Ray LaMontagne, and concludes with an early August headlining slot at the Pickathon 2009 indie roots music festival in rural Oregon.
