Burt Bacharach postpones early 2010 concert dates

Burt Bacharach [ tickets ] has postponed all of his concert appearances through mid-March because of a recent back surgery, according to published reports.The 81-year-old performer reportedly is recovering at a hospital following the New Year's Eve surgery. A spokesperson for Bacharach said his prognosis is excellent, but he will need to reschedule concerts in Australia, New Zealand and Palm Beach, FL, for later in the year or early next year.
