Depression Sucks

Sunday brought some very sad news to the music world. Mark Linkous, otherwise known as Sparklehorse , died by suicide this weekend. He'd suffered--and I mean suffered--from deep depression for a long time. Several years ago I remember reading an interview with him in Under the Radar magazine in which he described how he'd basically been unable to stop crying for about three years.
