Disney hopes to remake 'Yellow Submarine' in 3-D

Disney has revealed plans to remake "Yellow Submarine," the 1968 animated movie featuring The Beatles. According to published reports, Robert Zemeckis will direct the feature, which will be in 3-D as opposed to the original 2-D cartoon, in which the character Old Fred meets up with the British icons to travel to Pepperland in a yellow submarine and fight off the Blue Meanies.
