Evita Vs. Evita: Patti Lupone Comes For Madonna

Madonna's best-known acting role was Argentine political leader Eva Perón in the 1996 film Evita. But she didn't originate the role. Before Evita was a movie, it was a Broadway musical by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber. Patti Lupone was the first to portray Perón, and apparently she was not pleased with Madonna's performance.
