Guns N' Roses tap Danko Jones to open Canadian trek

Canadian rock trio Danko Jones [ tickets ], whose fall tour plans got sunk when fellow rockers The Damned ran into visa problems, have signed on to open for Guns N' Roses [ tickets ] during an early 2010 run through the Great White North. The run--which also will feature former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach--gets underway Jan. 13 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and stops are planned in 13 Canadian cities through early February.
