Highlights of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's 2009-10 season

Jazz-pianist and composer Michel Camilo has been appointed the DSO's jazz creative director for a two-year cycle. The DSO's free community concerts are set for the week of Sept. 13. Details to be announced. Guest conductors include Neville Marriner, Roger Norrington, Andrey Boreyko, Hans Graf and principal guest conductor Peter Oundjian.
