The Associated Press reports that Jay-Z and a business partner are suing the Boston Red Sox legend David Ortiz. Jay co-owns a chain of nightclubs called the 40/40 Club, and Big Papi owns a club in the Dominican Republic, his homeland, called the Forty-Forty Club.
According to Jay's lawyers, Ortiz named his club to capitalize on the popularity of Jay's clubs. Jay's lawyer Peter Raymond tells the New York Daily News that Ortiz has visited Jay's clubs twice.
