Jeff Mills to perform at backpack benefit

Detroit techno artist Jeff Mills will perform a three-hour set at the Works on Friday to raise money for the fifth annual Backpack Drive. Mills, who went by the moniker the Wizard during his radio days at WJLB-FM (97.9), will perform a tag-team set with DJs T. Linder and Seoul. DJs John Collins, Jenny LaFemme, Greg Gow and Dan Bain will perform in a separate room.
