Johnny Mathis flirts with fame -- again

Johnny Mathis has released nearly 90 albums. His 'Greatest Hits' disc, first released in 1958, ranked in the Billboard Top 200 list for 10 years straight. In February, the veteran crooner wowed an industry crowd at the annual all-star gala hosted by Clive Davis the night before the Grammy Awards. And Mathis headlined a program last weekend with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Now Davis is floating the idea of a new Mathis album.
