Kinks Album of Collaborative Covers in the Works

According to TwentyFourBit, a nice group of collaborators are turning out to rework past material from The Kinks. Several sources, including Ray Davies, have confirmed Spoon, Billy Corgan, Bruce Springsteen, Frank Black, Alex Chilton, Lucinda Williams and Bon Jovi. Davies hinted at new material back in March and this is probably part of what he was talking about. Said album is expected before the end of 2010. [twentyfourbit.com]
