Metric maps fall Canadian dates

Indie rockers Metric [ tickets ] have lined up a headlining tour in their native Canada this fall as they continue to push their latest studio album, "Fantasies." The group, which originally formed in Toronto, kicks off the excursion Oct. 15 in Kitchener, Ontario. After a pair of shows (10/17-18) in Montreal, the band heads back to its home province of Ontario for a few more dates before heading to Western Canada to finish off the trek in early November.
