NEWSFLASH: INDIE ISN'T A GENRE

I swear I am the only person who realises this. Everyone else is tagging nearly every artist in their library that isn't mainstream pop as "indie rock" or "indie pop" or "indie electronic". It's an umbrella term. Nearly everything released in the past decade or so has been tagged "indie" to the point that it has completely lost all meaning.
