Pariah: "Orpheus"

Last May, we reviewed an awesome track called "Detroit Falls" by the then-unsigned UK newcomer Pariah, and now the track has found a home as the A-side to his debut single for R&S. On the flip side is "Orpheus", which takes the slice-and-dice Dilla mood of "Detroit Falls" and throws it into more dubby Burial territory, drenching the soul sample with room-filling echo and stuttered, clattering percussion.
