Rocksteady Icon Alton Ellis Passes On

The reggae world is currently mourning the loss of one of its greatest singers. Alton Nehemiah Ellis (1939–2008) died Friday at the Hammersmith Hospital in London, 10 months after he was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer. He was 70 years old.
