THE story of doomed teenage lovers is great material for all forms of artistic endeavour so it is no wonder that there are many dance versions of Shakespeare's play. This one, created by Christopher Gable and Massimo Moricone for NBT in 1991, is fleet-footed and young at heart. At first it seems too lightweight but as it goes on the concept takes shape; the two noble houses, Montagues and Capulets, are light versus dark, martial versus pastoral, hippies versus hawks.
