Last night a one-time supergroup dubbed Spirits In The Sky paid tribute to psych-rock pioneer Sky "Sunlight" Saxon at LA's Echoplex. Bringing together Billy Corgan's pickup group, Electric Prune bassist Mark Tulin, and Strawberry Alarm Clock keyboardist Mark Weitz, Spirits performed the Norman Greenbaum hit they were named after, the Seeds' "900 Million People Daily (All Makin' Love)," and a new Billy-penned song ostensibly intended for a future Pumpkins recording.
