Sonic Youth adds to 'Eternal' outing

Sonic Youth [ tickets ] has added an additional leg of Western US dates to its itinerary this fall as the band continues to support its latest studio release, "The Eternal." The seven-city slate picks up where the band's current trek--which continues Thursday night (7/30) in Salt Lake City--leaves off, with the new leg kicking off Sept. 25 in Pomona, CA, and finishing up Oct. 4 in Austin, TX.
