The Swell Season plots fall course

Oscar-winning outfit The Swell Season [ tickets ] will launch a fall run of North America in support of its new studio album, "Strict Joy." The duo--Frames frontman Glen Hansard and Czech vocalist/pianist Marketa Irglova--will begin the trip with a Nov. 1 performance in Milwaukee. The month-long outing will take the singer/songwriters to 25 cities from coast to coast, including a handful of Canadian stops along the way. The roadwork wraps with a Dec. 5 concert in Minneapolis.
