Making maybe the best music video of the year may not have been one of Dan Black's goals with this, the clip for "Symphonies" off of his upcoming ((un)) LP, but it certainly seems like it's a fair way there. Mixing genre-specific film homages throughout the video along with Black's wondrous lyrics and stunningly sparse arrangements make the perfect pairing for our eyes and ears.
