Last night, the Hold Steady swung by "The Colbert Report", bashing out their Heaven Is Whenever track "Hurricane J" after band principals Craig Finn and Tad Kubler sat for an interview with Stephen Colbert. Kubler barely said a word, but Colbert and Finn got into a surprisingly deep discussion about the religious imagery in Finn's lyrics.
