In the world of celebrity, the mark of having made it is when you start seeing plastic dolls of yourself sold in the local toyshop. In dance music, you know you've gone mainstream when you get featured in a Hed Kandi compilation. Thus it was with something of a sinking feeling that I spotted the title of the latest compilation from the dance music label: Hed Kandi - Nu Disco.
