Sydney Opera House - the latest chapter in a sorry saga
It seems ironic that the Danish architect Jorn Utzon, who died last year, should have been honoured last week at a state memorial service inside his greatest creation, the Sydney Opera House, at exactly the same time as the plans to renew the building's botched and crumbling interior were effectively being thrown out by the government.
