Making hyperbolic claims on the strength of one EP with five original songs and two remixes might seem like a stretch for most acts... Usually when an band is hyped after one EP (or shit, one song, even), you can almost hear the band members' jaws dropping, their brains squeezing out "oh shit" thoughts as they try to figure out what to do next. It didn't work out too well for Black Kids, and it remains to be seen with Passion Pit (though I have my doubts)... but if I had to place my bets early,...
