Levis, the official jeans of train-riders and stowaways, is sponsoring a public art project called Station to Station, where a train will dock (station? land?) in several cities across the US in conjunction with musicians doing specialized performances. Giorgio Moroder will perform a composition from parts built exclusively on the train, and Beck will also do an original composition at the Barstow, California stop.
