I was never too familiar with Sunny Day Real Estate, Jeremy Enigk's band from the mid-late 90s that was apparently instrumental in popularizing "emo" at an early stage (not exactly the current Jared Leto emo shit, nor the Dashboard Confessional crap that made it really blow up).
