'Deathtrap' set for tonight in Ferndale

"DEATHTRAP": Ferndale's Ringwald Theatre has earned a reputation for offering fresh and edgy fare, but it's kicking off 2009 on a more conventional note. Who Wants Cake? theater company is tackling Ira Levin's 1978 cat-and-mouse thriller "Deathtrap," a play whose plot comes with more twists and turns than a day at Cedar Point. 8 p.m., Ringwald Theatre, 22742 Woodward, Ferndale. 248-545-5545. $10-$20.
