When we checked in with Girl Talk two years ago, the mash-up master was running a shoestring operation in his live shows. He's still using his laptop to overlay beats, melodies and lyrics from 1960s rock, 1980s new wave and 1990s alt-rock and hip-hop from every era to create new music.
