This seems to be a week for transformations. As soon as I finished writing about James Yuill's morphing from folktronic troubadour to lord of the rave, I made a long overdue trip to glitchy post-rockers 65daysofstatic land to hear new album 'We Were Exploding Anyway'. And found they're no just longer glitchy post-rockers. Like Fuck Buttons last year they've been bitten by the euphoric dance bug, not least on the album's best track, 'Tiger Girl', which is ten minutes of motorik electronic gurgles...
