A Year Ago

Last year at this time I was in the midst of my big hike up Mt. Washington. Remember how excited I was about it? This year we're not planning anything nearly that ambitious. In fact, we're renting a house in New Hampshire on a lake and hoping to do just about nothing except paddle about in a canoe and maybe take an easy day hike or two. We might drive up Mt.
