AWARD: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Nominees Include Tom Waits and Bon Jovi

Like the various sports halls of fame, the one devoted to rock and roll also announces a long list of nominees from which are culled the eventual inductees. This year's honor roll of 15 artists vying for a place in the Hall of Fame includes nine returning runners-up: the Beastie Boys (nom No. 2), Chic (No. 6), LL Cool J (No. 2), the J.
