American bands lead Kerrang Awards nominations

It seems the US is not content with just embarrassing us on the football pitch. They're putting us to shame in the world of music as well. Just look at nominations for the Relentless Energy Drink Kerrang Awards. US rockers Jared Leto's band 30 Seconds To Mars have four, Green Day and Metallica are a close second, ahead of the likes of our own Lostprophets.
