Asobi Seksu with Loney, Dear and Sleepy Sun live in Vancouver, 6 October 2009

pictured above: a misdemeanor Sleepy Sun opened the show and were uninteresting to say the least. Their songs all built on the following formula: slow, fast, FREAKOUT. Asobi Seksu are one of my favourite bands and they can be extremely repetitive but at least they switch up where they put the loud bit in every song. Loney, Dear were really good though they have the same problem a lot of twee pop bands do where they try to fit as much as possible into every song which can be a bit tiring. I had ...
