Beastie Boys' Adam Yauch recovering, thankful for support

Adam "MCA" Yauch of the Beastie Boys [ tickets ] is recovering from surgery after doctors found a cancerous tumor in his left salivary gland last month. Yauch sent an email to fans today (8/5), thanking them for positive thoughts and explaining that he's home and resting following the surgery a week and a half ago.
