An Appreciation: Pete Seeger's compositions and performances reflect the innovations of his father, Charles, a groundbreaking musicologist, and stepmother, Ruth, a composer.Driving home from a performance of Handel's "Theodora" the night Pete Seeger died, I switched on the radio. "Where Have All the Flowers Gone" was playing. It was an extraordinary concurrence.
