Best Coast: Crazy for You

(Wichita)Bethany Cosentino, one-third of LA outfit Best Coast, has said of her band's first LP: "These songs are pretty innocent. I just complain about boys." Lyrically at least, that certainly sums things up: guys and weed and summer are sung about with a brilliantly dumb directness (there's a particular triumphalism to a repeated lyric as inane as "I'm happy".)
