Blue Note Records at Monterey Jazz Festival

Bobby Hutcherson, Robert Glasper and Don Was discussed the 75-year history of Blue Note Records in a panel discussion Saturday at the Monterey Jazz Festival. Vibraphonist Hutcherson, who was there for the label's glory days, told some heart-warming stories about label co-founder Alfred Lion and what it felt like to be a jazz musician in New York in the 1960s.
