Broken Social Scene's Brendan Canning Talks Scott Pilgrim Soundtrack

In the forthcoming nerd-avenger comic book movie Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World, the titular hero's band faces off against a group of punks called Crash and the Boys in a battle of the bands. While actor Erik Knudsen (aka Crash) provides vocals for the tunes, the fast and loud music was written and recorded by Broken Social Scene, who also created ambient pieces for the score with producer Nigel Godrich.
