Camera Obscura Are in the Navy Now [Plangent Yearning]

Whirlwind romance in Paris is the subject of the video for Camera Obscura's dour little love song, "French Navy" of their forthcoming My Maudlin Career (due out in April on 4AD). There's a distinctly Sofia Coppola-esque aesthetic here: all golden lighting and slightly melancholy montages of a couple living it up in the city of lights. But it's clear by the end that this romance is most likely short-lived.
