Coast Guard Starts Burning Gulf Oil Slick

BATON ROUGE, La. (April 28) -- The Coast Guard today began burning a portion of an oil spill spewing into the Gulf of Mexico after an explosion of a giant drilling platform in an attempt to stop the slick from reaching sensitive environmental areas and the Louisiana shoreline.
