Dave Matthews Band, energetic again, plays DTE tonight
"Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King," DMB's brawny and bawdy seventh album, seems to have lit a fire under this veteran Virginia ensemble, which appears rejuvenated and firmly back in form after a 2008 that included the death of sax man Leroi Moore. This latest edition of the group's perennial summer tour brings it to Clarkston with top-notch opener Old Crow Medicine Show. 7 p.m., DTE Energy Music Theatre, I-75 at exit 89, Clarkston. 248-377-0100. $40, $75.
