It features the standout Popular Songs track redone by De La Soul's Maseo, RJD2, and Pete Rock, who "drops a verse about Yo La Tengo themselves" on his version, according to Matador. This is some rap-rock we can (potentially) fuck with. The scuzzy, hypnotic original was given our Best New Music distinction last summer.
