Diplo Directs Funk Carioca Doc

Through his mixtapes and DJ sets, Diplo has been one of the primary agents introducing the berserk Brazilian dance music subgenre known as funk carioca (or baile funk or favela funk) to the world. For his directorial debut, Diplo has taken on the genre once again, with a documentary called Favela on Blast, which he co-directed with Leandro HBL.
