Dr. John's latest disc salutes Louis Armstrong

'Louis (Armstrong) came to me in a dream and said, 'Do my stuff ... your way,'' says veteran New Orleans pianist/vocalist Dr. John, who grew up in Armstrong's neighborhood. 'I thought about it for a while. And then I just started doing it.' One result is the disc 'Ske-Dat-De-Dat ... The Spirit of Satch,' a vibrant, all-star Armstrong tribute being released by Concord Aug. 19.
