Readers' favourite photographs, songs and recipesSnapshot: Mark and meA few weeks ago, I visited the house where I was born in Gorleston-on-Sea, in Norfolk. My family moved from this house when I was eight, so finding it was a bit of a struggle. Once found, it bore no resemblance to the house I remembered (the one in the photograph). The garden had been turned into a drive; bits of building work had been added here and there. But, of course, change is to be expected – about 50 years had passed...
